Melody Malek

She is Melody, a proud Iranian/Persian immigrant woman currently residing in Izmir, far from her homeland, as she pursues her personal and career dreams. Melody's educational journey revolves around the world's most unsustainable products. She holds a Master's degree in polymer engineering, and her Master's thesis delved into the realm of biopolymers. She began her professional journey at the Iran Polymer and Masterbatch Compound Association, where her aim was to raise awareness and reduce the environmental impacts of its members.

Despite honing her marketing skills and aligning herself with the industry, Melody found herself in a less-than-ideal position within one of the world's most CO2-emitting sectors. However, fortune smiled upon her as she discovered her true calling in the picturesque organic cotton and hemp fields of the Aegean region, joining Egedeniz Group—the first organic certified company in Turkey, Izmir.
